Zendesk Chat app good for

Works as it should. Reliable. Though I have never got any comments on it :). My visitors are not using it, but that is not the softwares fault.
I use it for two-way chats with visitors of my wine blog. Easy to set up, mobile, with embedded analytics.
This app has really helped my business.great features, even on the unpaid version. I get notified right on my Apple Watch!
Ive been an avid user of the Zopim software for many, many years. The web application has had issues throughout the years and I can confidently say that its almost flawless now. Its an integral part of our business The app has unfortunately been less reliable. Theyve come out with an update now to fix the mobile apps connection issues and I believe thats a huge step in the right direction. Ive seen it improve. A few months ago we were considering having to leave bc of those issues (you think its running in the background but customers are trying to chat with you and youre unaware of it). It was the first time we thought about leaving and then they came out with an update that gave it a huge jump in reliability. Mobile is the most import aspect of almost everyones business now and Im glad to see theyre putting more time into the mobile application. I give this a 4 star for excellence but hope the last little connectivity issues get resolved.
I have tried a few other big name chat systems. They where complicated to use, lacked the features that Zopim already had and did not allow initiate a chat. I few other had apps but they didnt work and was told by customer service that they where working on it. It never got fixed. I am impressed with Zopim product and the pricing is really reasonable. Thank you!
this is very good, just it would be good to be updated with new version of Wordpress & for new version app iPad, too. Tank you Zopim

Some bad moments

Pretty much useless, it keeps disconnecting and you miss important chats. Looks nice, if only it worked as good as it looked. When youre connected it works like a charm, when you leave the app, chances are youre going to miss a few chats.
This app is just awful. If you are a Zopim customer, you should plan on using the website to engage in chats with web site visitors, not this app.... The connection drops frequently, it takes too long to connect and authenticate even though my credentials are saved, and navigating through a chat feels very Internet 1.0 to me. I get the feeling that no one on the Zopim development team owns or has access to an iPhone. That is the only plausible explanation, because this app does not work.
Upgraded and now every single visitor who enters site shows notification and vibrates. No way to turn it off! Unbelievable
The updated version of the Zendesk Chat app does not have sound notifications, so when a chat request comes, even though we have a sound chosen in our settings, no sound plays. Thus, our reps often miss chats. Please fix this.
Zendesk Chat/Zopim is such a great tool. The desktop dashboard works great and we love it. But, we travel a lot so the app is critical to how we use the software. This app is terrible. I typically launch the app as I leave the office and it will work for a little while. Then at some point Ill realize "I havent heard a notification in a while". Lo and behold its because the app has logged me out... who knows when. Its constantly logging us out of the app without any way to know this has happened except to launch the app again. Weve missed countless chats like this due to the triggers not firing while we are logged out. Ive turned to obsessively checking the app on my phone to make sure Im still logged in. Outrageous. Obviously this is a critical point to using the app, so I cant understand why the developers havent fixed whatever it is that makes this happen.
Like the other reviews I lost the chance to connect to customers because I was logged out. Switching back to email inquiries
